Earlier this month, 62 students were invited to be members of Grace King’s chapter of the National Honor Society. This evening, 38 of them will be officially inducted into the NHS chapter.

Requirements for membership include: having a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, enrollment or participation in an Advanced Placement (AP) or dual-enrollment course, voluntary contributions to the school and/or community, as well as showing qualities of good character, reliability, respect for others, and a good disciplinary record.

The induction ceremony is held twice per year (fall and spring), so students who were not accepted this semester may be accepted next semester. Because of this, Ms. Carter reminds students that it is especially important to “make everyday count, keep trying for excellence, and remember the school’s four A’s.”

Induction for the fall semester will be held on Thursday, September 27 at 6pm in Grace King’s Black Box Theatre. All faculty and staff are invited to attend.
